Hallo!
There seem to be bandwidth limits on all the computers in the office.
This affects all even at times when only one computer is in use.
How can I remove bandwidth limit DSL so that all the computers have free and shared access?
The only controls that should be left are the ones implemented by my ISP.
Thanks.
How can I fully remove bandwidth limit DSL?
Hi Gran Wesner,
You can follow these easy steps in removing the Bandwidth in DSL connections.
For Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP.
1. Type GPEDIT.msc into the search field on the start menu. (NOTE: Windows XP users type it in the Run Box also found in the start menu.Under Computer Configuration collapse administrative Templates, Network and then click QoS Packet Scheduler.
2. Under Computer Configuration collapse administrative Templates, Network and then click QoS Packet Scheduler.
3. Double-click Limit reservable bandwidth on the right pane.
4. Click Enabled.
5. Enter 0% in the Bandwidth limit drop box menu below.
6. Click Apply.
You can also create a registry file to execute the same command:
-
Open a notepad.
-
Type this registry command:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoftWindowsPsched]
“NonBestEffortLimit”=dword:00000000
-
Save the file with a .reg extension.
-
This changes to Command Icon and then double click to execute the code.
