I have windows 7 64 bit and was wondering if it is possible to ghost image windows 7? If it is possible then tell me how to create ghost win 7 64 bit 2012 full edition? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

How to create ghost win 7 64 bit 2012 full?

Hey Johnny Thompson,

You need the following things before you make your Windows 7 64 bit image.

• Download Hiren Boot CD
• Spare some space for the Image of C drive. (the space created on the drive other than C itself).
• Now, Burn the Hiren Boot CD on a black cd and boot through this CD-ROM.
• In the Hiren Boot Menu Select "Mini Windows XP".
• You'll have to wait until the desktop appears.
• Now select Menu > Backup > Ghost32 (Click, yes, OK).
• After the setup initiates go to "Local > Partition > To Image".
• Select your hard drive in which windows 7 is installed.
• Now select Window-7 Partition i. e. C partition from the list & press ok.
• You need to create the image of two partitions from C drive because by default windows 7 uses 100-200 Mb or space in hidden partition inside drive C ( called System). You can see this partition at top of partition.
• Select the location where you want your image to be saved.

You are done !
