Hello all.

Anyone ever seen this error message?

Too fragmented to hold a contiguous memory

Decompressing this file in memory would require 44Mb of contiguous memory.

Your system has only a total of 147Mb available free segments (out of the 2047Mb), and they are too fragmented to hold a contiguous buffer.

Therefore, the song will be loaded on-the-fly from the drive (and the full waveform preview will not be available).

OK

Please share your experience. It’s important to me.

Thanks in earlier.

Hi,

Decompressing the file in your memory requireS 44MB contiguous memory but your system has only a total of 147MB available free segments. It only means your available memory cannot hold the files you want to have. Yet, the song files will be loaded but the full waveform preview will not be available, it's useless. Try to decompress file that can support your system memory.

Heather marie

Hi Hall Allen,

Your systems are lack of memory, if you’re trying to save it to your flash drive or virtual drive which has limited space this issue will occur, just try to adjust the capacity of your virtual drive. Just visit this link https://www.howtogeek.com/50399/how-to-resize-a-microsoft-virtual-hard-drive-vhd-file/
