I need help with detection number phone

I have an 8 GB iPhone 3G that has the 412 MHz ARM 11 CPU, PowerVR MBX GPU and an upgraded iOS from 2.2 to 4.2.  It now won't show the number of the person calling since the upgrade, it just shows Unknown Number.  I need help with detection number phone.

Hi,

I have not heard of any bugs in the Iphone iOS when upgrading to 4.2 regarding the CLI (calling line identity) display. 

Check with your operator and confirm with them if they have activated COLR (CONNECTED LINE ID RESTRICTION) for your MSISDN. In any case inform them to reset your account if possible to the default settings. This should fix the problem.
