What mobile brand has good sky gps Symbian performance?

I am a struggling underground astronomer. I want to be an expert on this field, but given my experience and exposure in this field, I will still consider myself as a beginner. As I do not have really sophisticated equipment, I am trying to awaken the inner geek in me so I can make use of my smartphone as a device to identify the basics. I found out about this sky GPs Symbian.

Now, I am torn between choosing Nokia N97 mini and Nokia E52, these smartphones are using Symbian S60v5 and S60v3 respectively. When it comes to GPS performance, which unit would you prefer. I hope I can get opinions from users of these smartphones.

Hi,

When it comes to GPS performance, I would prefer Nokia E52. It is a smart phone from the Nokia Eseries collection, with a 240×320 screen and a Symbian OS v9.3 gadget. It has a built – in GPS recipient, A – GPS maintain, digital scope. Compare to Nokia N97 that the GPS is not for all time run fine, GPS troubles occur, vanished GPS signal or deprived GPS function because it was positioned below the camera section area that can be enclosed by hand. This can heavily affect the GPS performance.
