Hi Experts,
I do not know about the expiry of Windows Media Player. Look at the error message below.
It claims the removal of hardware components. But such operation is not known to me.
Please help me to fix it.Â
Windows Media Player
Your media usage rights have become corrupted or no longer valid.
This might happen if you have replaced hardware components in your computer.

Hello Jamin,
You might need to re-download your media usage rights for the particular file that you are playing.
Normally, it is done automatically by Windows Media Player but if it not, then do the following:
-
Click on the arrow below the now playing tab of Windows Media Player then click on More Options.
-
In the Privacy tab, check that the Download usage rights automatically when I play or sync a file is checked.
-
In the same Privacy tab, check that the Automatically check if protected files need to be refreshed is also checked.
-
Click on ok and try to play the file again while connected to the internet.
I hope you are set now.
