I received an error message regarding optional update delivery of Microsoft Windows

Hi,

there are several reasons for this the most common is that you may have been a victim of counterfeit/fake windows installation. Solution for this is to contact the store you bought it from.

Another is, if you have reformatted your windows computer & did not properly activated your windows installation online this error will also appear.

To solve this make sure you have the following

internet connection

Windows installation DVD Case or

Windows Authenticity sticker found on the case of your PC

1. Go to start right click on computer then properties.

2 A dialogue window will appear showing the basic information of your computer.

3.at the bottom of the window click on change windows key, then another dialogue box will appear asking for your windows activation key, input whats supplied in your windows CD case or what the sticker installed on your PC case. Click next then windows will verify if this is correct then if successful your problem will be solved.
