Linton; MCP6200 wouldn’t accept data, invalid floating point value

Hello! I have Linton LT-3268 and LT-2268.

I have entered a data in MCP6200 but it wouldn’t accept 439.200, and I’ve tried looking for solutions in the internet unfortunately they don’t have much of a help.

Does anyone have any information on this on how to fix it?

MCP6200

439.200’ is not a valid floating point value.

Hi,

Every application has a prefixed set of values to accept from the user. In one application the floating point value may be set to 2 values which means that you can enter only 2 digits after the decimal point whereas some applications have no limit to the number of digits after the decimal point.

MCP6200 has a default value of 4 digits for the floating point values. This means that you have to enter 4 digits after the decimal point otherwise it will be an error. If you have to enter 10.11 then in MCP6200 you have to enter it as 10.1100 as the default value for floating point is 4 digits after the decimal. As you are trying to enter only 3 digits after the decimal you are facing the error message.
