I have Mac PC with OS X 10.6.4 and Adobe Soundbooth CS5. When starting Soundbooth and open Looks3_AE.plugin I got an error:
"Soundbooth has encountered an error.
[/Roadrunner/main/MediaCore/MediaLayer/VideoFilterHost/Make/Mac/../../Src/AEPluginVideoFilterModule.cpp-107]"
OrÂ
Soundbooth has encountered an error.
[/Roadrunner/main/MediaCore/MediaLayer/AudioSupport/Make/Mac/…/…/Src/Mac/CoreAudioHost.cpp-551/
Looks3_AE.plugin is a plug-in for AE that has a Magic Bullet Looks. I tried to reset the settings for Soundbooth but this error keeps prompting. How can I get rid of this AE plug-in? Help please.
Error on soundbooth CS5: crashes on start
It seems that there is a plug-in that is missing which is crucial for Soundbooth to work properly, and therefore you will need to install it. You will need to try and see if you can get soundbooth to load so that you can go to tools and then check for updates. Checking for updates will probably install the plug-ins that are missing in the soundbooth version that you are using.
Or as an alternative, you can search online for the latest Soundbooth application, download it and install it. Also make sure that you get the right version for your system. Since you are using a Mac computer, you will have to make sure that you get a Soundbooth version for Mac, for the error may be occurring because you are using an incompatible version.

Error on soundbooth CS5: crashes on start
The possible reason why you are getting this error is because of some CS4 plugins are preventing Soundbooth to run correctly. Try going to the media core folder: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plugins/CS4/MediaCore and then check which plugin is causing this error.
