I heard that the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) lets you swipe apps out of the list, dismissing them permanently.
I want to know what happens at the OS level when you swipe an app out of the recent list – let's say Music app?
Does it clear the app's data out of RAM and first stop all background processes related to the app that's being stopped?
Is there any additional steps on how to clear recent apps in ICS?
How To Clear Recent Apps for ICS on Android Users?
Hi,
To clear the list you have to add the following option with every program of application apparent-
You have to include this with every application. Â
Keep one thing in your mind; it is not applicable for permanent purpose. Â
You may search different codes for the permanent purpose in different sources.
Thanks.

How To Clear Recent Apps for ICS on Android Users?
Hello,
Uninstalling the application in your device will kill the background process and at the same time will be deleted from your list.  And yes, the memories will also be removed.  The data stored in your memory will be cleared as well thus your  operating system will have an increase in speed.
To clear your ICS with the applications, simply long press on the icon of the application you want to uninstall. Â Drag the icon to the ICS or to the manufacturer UI. Â Another option is to open the Play Store then click on the Menu and tap on My Apps. Â
Â
My Apps will display the applications installed in your phone. Â Tap the application you want to delete twice and it will be removed from your device.

Taylor
