HP DeskJet 3650 printer I received the error message

Hi,

While updating the software of my HP Desk Jet 3650 printer I received the error message as under. This only happened with the preference of my Mac OS X. After receiving the message, the update process aborted. Please help me to solve it.

 

The update "HP Printer Drivers Update" can't be installed.

The Installer could not validate the contents of the ‘HP_Deskjet’ package. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

HP DeskJet 3650 printer I received the error message

Hello Olivia,

• In Finder, you will need to go to  Macintosh HD / Library / Printers / hp / PDEs.
• After that right click on 'hpPostScriptPDE.plugin' and 'Show Package Contents'.
• And then open the Contents folder and you will find a plugins folder.
• You will need to DELETE IT and your printer will work.

HP DeskJet 3650 printer I received the error message

Dear Olivia,

First of all, end all tasks from the task manager (control+alter+delete).

The problem occurred because the content folder includes a plugins folder. You only need to find it and delete it.

If you need further help in finding out the plugins folder, please go to www.hp.com and lodge a request.

I am sure your printer shall start working properly then.
