Last two days ago, I can just use Emmy Windows 7 PC just fine. But today, I find it slow. Like it would take 5 minutes to open an application when it used to take only less than a minute before I could open and use a particular application. So something I did yesterday that affects the performance of my computer.
Sometimes, it gets even worse when it does not only crash but also forced to restart. What I did yesterday was download bear share music. I couldn’t find strange from the mp3 files I downloaded from bear share, but I would like to know if downloading from bear share is virus free?
Are downloaded bearshare music free from viruses?
The music that you download from bear share is not 100% free of virus because just like other peer 2 peer connections. The source of file is unsafe and was not scanned before you download it.
Some of the Bear Share search results show a suspicious file that leads you acquiring the virus. I suggest you uninstall bear share and visit sites that lets you download songs like http://mp3skull.com/ and also run a scanned anti virus check on the machine using your update anti-virus so you can know if your machine is infected or not.

Hi from BearShare Support
BearShare is 100% Virus free and is, and always was safe to use.
If your computer is running slow I would advise you to go to Start -> Computer -> Uninstall or change a program and remove any of the programs you are not using.
Thanks
