How do I recover and display bb messenger icon?

Hi guys.  I have a 4 GB Blackberry Torch 9860 that has a 768 MB RAM, 1.2 GHz QC 8655 CPU, BBM and an updated BlackBerry OS 7.1 from OS 7.  My BBM icon in the home screen has now gone missing.    How do I recover and display BB messenger icon?

How do I recover and display bb messenger icon?

Sometimes Blackberry messenger icon is hidden. If it is hidden then you can follow the steps given below-

Click Menu with press Alt then click Show all > Browser. Highlights the hidden Blackberry messenger icon by clicking at Alt > Menu and uncheck hidden.

You can search this icon from Advanced options or you can download from an Internet Browser, click Application then click stay in touch then download Blackberry messenger.

How do I recover and display bb messenger icon?

Hi Donna Davis,

 

Here are possible scenarios that made your BBM icon disappear.

 

1) The BBM icon could just be hidden. To check if that is the case please follow these steps:

 

• Click the Menu button, then select Show All icons. (This action lets you see all the icons that were previously hidden)

 

2) The BBM icon could have been transparent, to take it off from this state: 

 

• Highlight the BBM icon then click Menu and finally select Unhide icon.

 

3) The BBM icon could have been relocated in a folder. Look it up by: 

 

• Using the Universal search feature.

 

If all of the above failed to bring your BBM icon back. Perform a hard reset on your phone.

If resetting doesn't work too. You may redownload the Blackberry Messenger from www.blackberry.com/messenger or you may get it from Blackberry App world.
