Would there be a need to create a site in AD Sites and Services MMC? Are they automatically created when I join a domain? Also, I would like to know if I join a domain, would these sites and corresponding servers be created in AD Sites and Services MMC?

Need help with AD Sites and Services
Active directory sites and services are used by DCs and for other services. A normal Domain join doesn’t add anything to the ADSS. Active Directory stores information about network components. It allows clients to find objects within its namespace. The Active Directory Users and Computers MMC snap-in is the most useful tool for administering your Active Directory. Sites must be manually created. Each Site should have a subnet assigned. By default the DCs are placed on the Default-First-Site, if you have other sites with subnets assigned, the DC will be placed where the corresponding subnet/site is configured. Information such as service bindings and configurations can be made available through the directory, making administration and use of network resources easier and more efficient.
