Error 272 on updating software for board 2870H1500A

I have problems on two board processors which is 2870H1500A.

This board is established by Hitachi processor. I am trying to update PP_Boot_V100.mot and also PP_System_V101.mot. Both are for Konica R2 processor board 2870H1500A.

And then I tried to connect COM1 to RCN8 but I keep getting an error 272. How can I fix this? What are the correct settings for the COM port?

Help please.

Error 272 on updating software for board 2870H1500A

There is nothing you can do except to change the board processor. But before doing this please proceed with the following steps.

1. First see your cable connections to the COM ports.
2. If you are using any sort of extended cables, of any size or format like female to male or anything remove them and then see if it performs well.
3. Try clearing the CMOS of the motherboard and then try to do the installation.
4. There is a bit of a trouble always if you have a two board processor other than intel because the software and hardware support is very less for it.
5. You can also try typing regsvr32 c:windowssystem32dllfile in the run from the start menu to see any registries that need to be repaired.
