I am working with an iPad application with Adobe CS5.5 for few days now.

When testing the application, I started getting an error as shown in the screenshot below.

I deleted the descriptor XML file, but Adobe is still sending the same exact error.

How can I troubleshoot the error?

I don't know what it is that is not being parsed. Help please.

Adobe Flash CS5

There might be something wrong with the installation of the software or the java components on your computer.

Reinstall the java and install the 32-bit version if you are using a 64-bit. 64-bit version as some bugs and also IPA don't support the 64-bit java. There is a restriction that has been put by the Apple due to some security features to work properly.

While you start publishing your app, go through all the settings and close it. Check the box that says remember your password for the current session.

Open the descriptor file and you will see how it stomped all over the application name. Replace all that stomped text with the following.
<name>This &amp; That</name>

Publish using file and publish. Don't open it in IOS.

I think your operating system seems pretty much compatible with the application. Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 generally requires 64-bit operating systems. The hardware requirement is quite high because it mainly deals with graphics.

Since you are getting this error while testing the application you are building, might as well check thoroughly every part of the program you are creating. There’s no problem with Adobe Premiere. And since the error was generated by Adobe Flash CS5 while testing, you can also check your system for any possible errors besides checking your program coding. Use a disk utility application to check your computer. If you don’t have one installed on your computer, you can use Windows’ disk check tool.

  1. Right-click drive C then select Properties.
  2. Click Tools tab.
  3. Click Check Now.
  4. Check Automatically fix file system errors then click Start.
