Hello guys,

How to make mac convert letter PDF to A4? I got 42 cover letters to be converted in A4 format and it is necessary for me to finish it as soon as possible because I will be submitting the reports through online. Can you give me some way how the conversion process can be done?

Launch your PDF file in Adobe Acrobat.

  • Click on "File," and select "Print Setup."
  • Select "A4" from the drop-down menu for "Size" under the "Paper" section.
  • Click "OK."
  • Click "File" and select "Print." Click on the drop-down menu for "Page Scaling," and select "Fit to Printable Area."
  • Click "OK."

Hi Emaily,

                There’s a built in application in Mac OS that can convert PDF file to word A4. It’s called Mac Automator, if your Apple computer has no application like this, you can download it directly in apple website, or in this link. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT2488 .

                To convert PDF to word A4 using the automator, just follow this instruction.

1.       Choose a PDF file you want to convert and drag and drop it to the automator application.

2.       The automator automatically converts the PDF file to rich text file.

3.       Drag and drop the rich text file created to the word icon application.

4.       Save it as Word Documents

5.       Done.
