MFL-Pro Suite Error in downloading software

I was installing the MFL-Pro suite for my friend’s Brother printer but I received an error message after downloading and unpacking the software. I think I may have chosen the wrong folder where I attempted to run the Setup.exe file. The error explanation and the correct installation guide are stated below.

MFL-Pro Suite Error in downloading software

You are correct, you have inadvertently opened an incorrect folder. The correct folder should be the one that includes the Brother printer model number. If you’re using a Windows based computer, just go to Windows explorer, open the folder where you unpacked the software and look for the folder that has the printer model ( example: mflproSetup290c ). Inside the folder should be the correct setup file to execute. Look for setup.exe inside the folder, run the file and you should be able to install the MFL-Pro suite without any other issues.
