Error: x64.exe not a valid Win32 application

When I attempted to install Java then a user is getting an error message same to: … x64.exe not a valid Win32 application. Please help me find a solution. Thanks in advance

Error: x64.exe not a valid Win32 application

This is a clear indication that you are trying to install a software that is specifically designed for systems using 64bit windows and you are installing it on 32bit windows.

The best solution for this is to go to the respective site from where you download the 64bit and download the 32bit version of the software. In this case I think that you are trying to install the java so it is very simple just go to the sun java site and download the 32bit software.

After downloading, run it and install it. it will not give any problem.

There is another solution to this, you can install a 64bit windows instead. The 64bit windows usually installs the 32bit version of softwares too unlike the 32bit version.
