Mapi Logon Provider: Network error on Ubuntu 12.04

Hello,

I am using Exchange MAPI plug-in for Evolution with Ubuntu 12.04. I specified the server as IP. But when I try to authenticate I get the following error.

"MapiLogonProvider: Network error"

From where can I get more details on logging information to try and find some solutions for this?

Hi there Maurice F Cozart,

 

There could be several reasons why you're getting the error. Quick workaround for your problem would be to use the web interface, so you can login in a case of emergency.

 

In case you are using multi-server exchange, make sure you are pointing to the right server. That means, not to the one that is configured to handle web access, but the one that actually has your mail.

 

Also, make sure your proxy is not blocking anything and that your server is not misconfigured.
