Excel 2010 error – config menu does not appear in shape example.xls

Hi guys,

I want to use the add-in option for Excel 2010 but the config menu does not appear in shape example.xls

Has anybody got any ideas as to how I run the configuration; I can't find the RTI menu on my file. When I open Excel I get the following splash screen then nothing seems to work.

Excel 2010 error – config menu does not appear in shape example.xls

Hi,

 

Microsoft Excel may give some problems when you try to install add-ins. The RTI Add-in is known to have compatibility issues. To get around this you need to run the "RTIExcelAddin.msi" first before executing the setup file. The MSI installs a compatibility kit that is required by RTI add-in for Excel to function properly. If you have clicked Setup file first before running the MSI, you are likely to get problems during installation that mentions expired license. To resolve the problem you can try installing the add-in manually through Excel Add-in menu option.
