Movie Maker won’t start, says “system error”

Hi experts,

I am having trouble with the following error today. I reinstalled the program but could not fix this issue so please help me to fix this problem.

The program can't start because MF.dll is missing from your computer.

Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Movie Maker won’t start, says “system error”

Hello Judith

This is an error caused by a missing file, as I am sure you have noticed. What you have to do is download manually the .dll file, and copy/paste it into the folder.

You download the .dll file from this link. After the download completed, you copy/paste the mf.dll into C:windowssystem32

That will solve your problem and the program will run at full capacity.
