Dvd nero software crashing when I insert disk

Hey guys,

I am using dvd nero software to capture and burn video to DVD. The file was originally VHS and I used pinnacle capture card to put the video onto my HDD. I can load the file itself into nero but when nero tries to write it the program crashes. Is there anything I can do?

Hi Michael,

 

You are having that error because you did not install Nero successfully to your computer. I recommend you to uninstall the Nero you have right now to your computer then installed it again but this time you have to make sure that you install it successfully without any problem. I also suggest to update your software to have the latest version of Nero and only use a software that compatible with your system.

Another reason why your Nero is crashing when you're trying to write or burn your file is because of the shell extension that installed from the third parties. To fix this, instead of using the Nero File Browser I recommend you to add a file using the Windows Explorer.
