Hello everyone!
Please help me out with this problem. I have noticed that an FTP uploading facility that I've been using to send some files to a web page via live data suddenly stops in the middle of uploading files whenever the application is not set to update after six (6) seconds.
However, when I tried to set the alert update time for around five or six minutes, the application returns the following error 'Application Error. A generic error occurred in GD+' after uploading files for about 13 hours. This perhaps is the most wonderful software that I've ever used to upload my files online, and because I am only starting to get the hang of it, any help from those who know what to do or those who had experienced similar problems will be very much appreciated.
FTP Software Error When Setting the Alert Update Time
The error you have specified is related to asp.net or the c#. There are few directories in your file system where you are not allowed to upload into. Means that you don't have the write access to that path or drive.
Make sure that you set the write permissions where you want to upload the file. There is a rule that need to be followed that the memory stream on which the file was created must be opened first before saving it.
There might be another possibility that the storage space has run out where you are trying to upload the file. So make sure that you have enough space for the file that you are trying to upload.

FTP Software Error When Setting the Alert Update Time
Dear Morblack
I think the error returned by your application is: "A generic error occurred in GDI+" not "A generic error occurred in GD+", maybe it's a typo. It's a general error message and may be caused for too many reasons. I think it's a regular permissions issue. This error happened to you because the application doesn't have write permissions on some directory. May be this directory is the target directory or the server temporary directory. You should check you permissions first. Also, May be the directory you are trying to access does not exist and you should create it first. Hope this helps you.
Best of Luck
