Help! I’m getting error: software exception (0xc06d007e)
Previously I was installing a few programs for a Universal Serial Bus (USB) remote device and now I am having so many problems.
One thing, right after rebooting, there’s an error message that appears on my monitor stating that an application has failed to initialize properly and needs to be terminated.
I click on OK to remove the error message and get back to work, but after a while it pops up again.
Here it is:
Then I get another error while working:
The exception unknown software except (0xc06d007e) occurs in the application at location 0x7c812afb.
I have rebooted my system, and it works fine for a while then I notice it getting sluggish, and I can tell that the error will pop up again.
I have looked into Google to see what I can find, and it says that it is an Operating System (OS) problem. Could it be because I was using a USB device? Could it also be a hardware problem?
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
