Invalid File Found Error on Updating Sims 3

I have a retail version of Sims 3 Ambitions, but I did not able to patch it when I first have it.

And now I need to patch it but the download manager of EA is not working. I manually downloaded the patch, but I got an “Invalid Region” error.

When I modified my registry based on the solution I found online,

I got another error and posted it below.

How can I update Sims 3™ Ambitions?

What invalid file is the error referring to?

Please help.

Invalid File Found Error on Updating Sims 3

You must have to see which Region is your game and is it a digital release or not.

According to this, see the below choices you have to solve the problem.

1st Choice

• open your EA download manager.
• Update it and it will be converted to Origin.
• Run your sims 3 and update. It is very simple.

2nd Choice

Manually Download Origin.

• After download is complete, install it and do the same steps as the above .

3rd Choice

• I am giving you a link. Just click on it and the update will start. Here is the link.

4th Choice

• There is a super Patchier for games that are in EP2. You can download it from here. remember that is for standalone EP2 games.

5th Choice

• If your game is a digital release you need this one.
