WipeDrive SystemSaver and WipeDrive are two different applications that can both erase a hard drive. But with WipeDrive SystemSaver, you have the option to remove only those applications you selected and still keep Microsoft Windows up and running. The operating system is excluded from the deletion process. All your personal files will be securely wiped but not the operating system and or applications.
When you use it, it will show you the list of applications discovered on your hard drive and will ask you to select the ones you want to keep. The ones you did not select will be uninstalled and securely erased. The objective of WipeDrive SystemSaver and WipeDrive is to permanently erase a hard drive so that the files it previously contains cannot be recovered.
This is best if you are thinking of giving away your computer to someone else or maybe donating it as well as if you are going to sell your computer. It works with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. This is not a free application and will cost you $39.95. Visit WhiteCanyon Software – WipeDrive SystemSaver for more information.
