Hey Mr.Smitherman,
1.To resolve the problem of opening .mts or .mt2 formats (basic mpeg2 video formats) you need to download some codecs for your Windows Media player. But there are some drawbacks with them. An average user will not be able to find out which part of the decompression of codec is causing a problem if any occurs.
OR,
2. However, you can convert all your .m2t files to .mp4 or .aviusing a good converter like Total Video Converter:
GET TOTAL VIDEO CONVERTER
OR,
3. We recommend the best solution is to download a very fast and compatible media player to play and stream such video formats.Try VLan Vlc media player – rated as the best by online websites such as: techtrendz and digital radar!
