Hi

I am looking for an iPad application that can copy photos to the Network-attached storage (NAS).

So if anybody knows an app tells me.

I also need to know is it possible to develop that kind of application ourselves?

Yes, there is an application that uses (S) FTP to transfer photos from an IPad , IPhone and IPod touch to a network attached storage.

I currently costs $1.99 and has a rating of 4+.

The current version is 1.7.1

Hi,

 

Yes, there are many out there but I highly recommend you one of the following:

 

1. FileBrowser ($2.99 on ) FileExplorer helps you to access

This is on top of iPad application on this area. FileBrowser has the capability to connect to your NAS, through private networks using VPN(and I'm sure you want extra security for your documents, multimedia files.)

I like it because I can copy multiple files at a time and also streaming videos and as a bonus it works great with build in iOS VPN.

 

2. A second alternative is NetPortal ($4.99 – NetPortal Access files on remote computers 

This is ~ as FileExplore, you can store files also email files as attachments, streaming and also viewing you file (images as you asked)
