Unable to install Windows 7 OS Enterprise 64-bit workplaces

Hello

I’m running LANDesk 9 with Service Pack 2. I pushed the agent to install 20 Windows 7 OS Enterprise 64-bit workplaces. The workplaces are new and all are same types (OS installed, joined to the domain, GPO updated, no Antivirus software installed). But the install is unsuccessful on four of them and shows this message "The agent setup program ran successfully." result code 1084.

I tested the installation log on the unsuccessful workplaces and it seems the agent install fails to list runasuserlibrary.dll.

 

Below is the extract from wscfg32.xlg on one of the machines:

I checked the machine and also tried to implement regsvr32 command manually. The error message was:

RegSvr32

The module “C:Program Files (x86)LANDeskLDClientrunansuserlibrary.dll”was loaded but the call to DIIRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8002801 c.

Hi

The system you are describing is fit for the windows 7 but the problem you are getting in installing is still present so the option is that replace the medium through which you are installing this software and then make changes it will help full for you. The option is that replace the CD of the window and then install again window and this problem will solve.

This is due to the factor that the CD is not fine there are some files which are missing and you are getting this problem that your window is not installing as you have mentioned your system then it should install on your system but not installing so replace CD or DVD and then install that it will work and solve your problem.
