Gmail is not accepting my password when trying to retrieve my email with POP.
I entered the correct password and yet, it keeps asking for my Gmail password.
What should I do?

Which operating system you are using (windows or Linux)
Show and type you use to operation Gmail (IE 9 or Outlook 2003)
Which antivirus you have installed or (Norton 2007 or Microsoft Internet Security Essentials)
Any extensions, toolbars or plug-ins:
Then it will be easy for me and for others to cover this problem.

1. Go to this link

Put your user name and password.

Press "Sign in"
  Now Sign in normally.
2. Go here check

Dear friend,
There could be several issues while entering password:
1. As you know passwords are case sensitive and hence you should check if your caps are on or not.
2. If there's no problem with case sensitiveness please report the problem with gmail because sometimes it happens with gmail and hence gmail will provide you with options to go for new password, and that will surely solver your problem all you need to do is to click on forgot password option in gmail and follow the steps.
