My friend owns a pre-paid sun cellular, he lost his original card that has the PUK and PIN, how can he bypass the sim password for sun?

Hi,

Good Day!

As per that incident there could only be 1 option left since the original card wherein the PUK PIN would be located is missing, you could call the SUN Cellular Hotline at the ff no.:

Toll-free from you Sun Cellular mobile phone: just dial 888

or by using a landline, call (02) 395-8888.

Note that, you should be firm in answering whatever questions they might throw you for them to comply with their security.

Hi there,
 
Is your friend a postpaid or prepaid subscriber? 
 
If you're friend is a postpaid user, let him/her just call the SunCellular hotline and let him/her authenticate his/her identity and they will give his/her PUK for the sim card right away. 
 
Same if he/she is a prepaid user, just give them a call but since prepaid sim cards do not require registration, there is no way the telco can verify his/her identity and ownership of the sim card.
 
It would also be better if you write an affidavit of loss for the PUK and send a request to your provider.
