Cannot Copy the Workbook to the Temp Directory

I get the below mentioned error when I open the workbook on server. Can you reply with what could be the reason?

Tableau Exception: cannot copy the workbook to a temp dir.

Cannot Copy the Workbook to the Temp Directory

Whenever you use Tableau, it creates some temporary files in the server. This problem may cause because:

1. Network connection is disconnected so can't get data from the server.

2. Any settings have been changed so that this problem is occurring.

3. Your server is in any trouble so Tableau can't copy.

 

You should:

1. Be sure that the network connection is not disconnected.

2. Use default settings.

3. Check your server is whether ok or not.

 

First of all, be sure that Tableau is configured correctly to the server. I think no more problems will occur.

If you face a problem anymore, then re-install the software and clean your server and start everything from the first.
