Hi guys,
While attempting to change some of my settings through Control Panel running Boot Camp control panel applet I received an error message. It declined my recommended settings, as I have no such administrative privileges.
Have a look at the error message below. How can I get a remedy of this issue?
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
Boot Camp

You may not have privileges to change the startup disk. Make sure you have administrative privileges and try again.

Hello,
You need to try the boot from the win 7 installation DVD doing a startup repair. It will help you to solve your problem. If you can do the process properly then you will not feel any problem. All the problems will be solved. Just try this on your own and if you will successful then It is ok.
I am actually glad to help you.

You might need to do the following steps to solve this:
1. Create a new Windows standard user, not Administrator. After logging in, Boot Camp will make updates and will ask to restart the computer.
2. After restarting and logging in with the new user account, this time create a new account as Administrator.
Try these steps as another solution:
1. Run the command prompt as administrator.
2. Type the following:
C:WindowsSystem32runas.exe /trustlevel:0x20000 AppleControlPanel.exe
Check if the error is solved.
