Steps to hide drives in Windows 7

Hello,

I am new user in Windows 7. I am not too much familiar, with the features of this operating system. I need to hide the drives of my computer  but I cannot find out the way in Windows 7.

I need it badly. I need the way to hide my particular drive. Is anyone there to help me? Please help me. I need suggestions in steps. Please come forward to give your suggestions. I am waiting.

Steps to hide drives in Windows 7

This is so nice question from you. The windows 7 is quite new to use and understand. There is a way to solve your problem.

Let me describe it in steps as you wanted:

• You need to go to run (ctrl + R) then type, "diskpart" there.
• Press Enter.
• There will be list volume and press Enter.
• Now you can get the list of your all drives.
• Now select the volume number which you want to hide say 2/3/4 etc. The drive which you want to hide.
• Now remove the letter of drive that means the name letter of the drive which you want to hide as for example A/B/C.
• Now you can not get the drive shown in your computer.

To again show the drives you need to go my computer. Right click on my computer. Go to the disk management through manage. Right click on the hidden drive and select change drive letter and paths, click on add than ok. Your work is done. Now you can again have the drive shown. Hope you get my point.

I have a large documents which are of my companies top document… So i want to hide it from others…

But i didn't get what i have searched for… But now i got it from techyv.com
