The battle between Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus
From the collaboration and joint venture of the huge corporations of Google and Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was finally released. It is one of the top smart phones in today’s market. It came after the widely successful launch of the Google Nexus S model. Although both devices, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD have an excellent exterior, there is more to it than just the design and looks of each of the phone.
With the Nexus, there is a slightly curved end at the front which makes it easy to hold and use when talking to one of your friends. The Nexus has a bigger screen compared to Xperia; more than 4 inches of super amoled high definition display. The Nexus runs on a dual core processing unit chipset which is bigger and faster than the one running with the Xperia.
The Nexus has huge storage options and comes in either 16GB or 32GB offering in which you can select as per your choice. In contrast, the Xperia has 1GB internal memory but can also support 32GB memory. The Nexus on the other hand cannot work with flexible memory in the sense that you cannot add in more than 32GB which may be a huge disadvantage for certain buyers.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD
The Xperia Arc, as the name suggests has a slight arch at the back which when you hold in your hand is extremely comfortable and makes for good usage. The Xperia, in numbers, is lighter as well as slimmer than the Galaxy Nexus which is a great benefit. With Sony, the best part about the Xperia is the Sony Bravia technology that makes the display of the touch screen extremely excellent and much more vibrant. Although the chipset running the Xperia is less powerful as compared to the Galaxy Nexus, it is still fast, and highly responsive. Whether you are carrying out multiple tasks or running your favorite applications, the Xperia won’t let you down. The camera of the Xperia is 8MP and also has an LED flash light which makes it better in terms of pictures and photos as compared to the Nexus. Sony Ericsson is known for their spectacular quality in capturing photos and videos and with this baby’s camera, nothing will be able to beat the quality. The HD display is something to behold because with Sony’s latest technology in built, the graphics will be amazing. So when you play your games or watch your videos, the results will be well worth the money you spend on this phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD are both classic smart phones that will put a serious mark on the markets today since they are both devices not to be taken lightly. While the Xperia Arc HD gives you better graphics, and a price which is not half bad, the Nexus has the advantage of a huge touch screen and a great memory.
