Virus in Dual boot pc

Pc is installed with dual booting operating systems. suppose there is a virus in one Operating system, how can i delete that operating system and boot from other operating system without virus infect to second operating system?

Virus in Dual boot pc

If you install them in 2 separate  drives you can format the other drive but if not i think it's impossible to remove the other without removing the other one. Just try doing this steps 

1. Please update your antivirus software and run a full scan this might be a malware that had affected your system and have a registry cleaner and fixer for your problem it might have mess with your registry files.

(Please have a very trusted antivirus I prefer Kaspersky or Norton they have the great detection rates for viruses like these)

2. Update your operating system for more protection against these type of malwares.

3. Use virtual computers for your other OS system it would be a great help for you rather having a dual boot.

Well Richelle, The virus in one operating system may have infected the files of the other operating system. It is because they both share the same disk and hence if the memory gets corrupted, chances are that files in other operating system get corrupted too. You need to scan the system completely from the infected operating system. Then boot from the other operating systemand do the same. While in the other operating system, repair the infected operating system. Repairing is a good option in this case. What are the two operating systems that you are using by the way? If both are windows, then it should be easy for you to manage.

So I should be worried then. I think I need to do a good partition/separation of drivers to avoid any risk when virus gets into its system. Well, thanks a lot Brionas.

Copy on that, I should be updating my anti virus every now.

I got kaspersky.
