JMB36XRaid Device is not found

Hi,

Recently, I bought my new system and installed the drivers but after doing this process I got an error message ‘JMB36XRaid Device is not found’. What does it mean? Can I get any resolution to fix this annoying error message? I will be thankful to you for any kind of assistance. Is this the problem with MOBO? Guide me properly.

JMB36XRaid Device is not found

1. Install the latest BIOS version for your motherboard.
2. You can also use the windows disk management utility to manage the raid array

JMB36XRaid Device is not found

RAID stands for Redundant Array of Independent Disks and was also originally termed as Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks. It is the kind of storage technology that joins numerous disk drive components into one logical unit for its objective of performance enhancement and data redundancy. Data are dispersed across the drives using one of the numerous ways called RAID levels.

David Patterson, Randy Katz, and Garth A. Gibson are among the ones who first described RAID in 1987 at the University of California, Berkeley. RAID is now an umbrella term referring to computer data storage system that is able to split and reproduce data across multiple physical drives. It is an example of storage virtualization and the array is accessible as one single drive by the operating system.

If your system is brand new, check if the RAID array is attached properly. If you are not experienced on how to do it, ask a qualified technician to check it for you so they would also know if a RAID device is really available in the system and not missing.
