Well I have a Samsung G3 USB with 8GB space.Well I took some files from my PC with OS win XP 32bit. Than when I tried inserted my usb on my laptop with OS Win 7 ,the files wouldn't show! I checked the memory you see if the files were deleted or not but the space was the same as if the files were still there! I tried to see hidden files but they still wouldn't show!! 🙁 What should I do ?

Jericho, this is not an issue of conflicting operating systems. Nor is the problem of 32bit vs 64 bit system compatibility issues. It may be because of some virus in your USB that is preventing the files from being shown on the operating system win7.

Then there is also a possibility that there could be a virus on your operating system 7 system that changes the name or the extension of your files and makes then .exe files (The folders also turn into .exe files ). In either case, you need to scan your USB as well as both the systems for any viruses on them. Remove the viruses and see if the problem persists?

I hope that the problem will be solved afterwards and you will be able to see the files on both operating systems.
