GTA 4 would not run on Win 7

Hello,

Recently, I purchased GTA IV and installed on my Win 7 Operating System but I got an error message when I try to run it. I also followed the required instructions and proceed in Service Pack 3 but the same error displayed. What should I do now to resolve the following error message? Can you provide me a proper solution to fix this problem? Any idea would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

GTA 4 would not run on Win 7

This type of problems occur due to compatibility issue of the OS system software with the application software

1> Traverse to the folder GTA IV and find ‘LaunchGTAIV’
2> Right click on it to select properties in it select ‘compatibility’ option
3> In this option uncheck the check box containing ‘Run this program in compatibility mode’
4> After doing so select ‘Windows XP’
