hey Alfonso,
so you too having this problem with your xBOX 360, blame no one except the genius Microsoft,
however, you can not really do much to stop it but ONE thing you can do to prevent it from the three red lights(ring of death) you have to reduce playing it to a minimal level I know things are tough to avoid when they are addictive, but you have to control your gaming mind to save your gaming console, cause the longer you play the hotter your console gets which burns the silver metal inside the box, which leads to a distortion of the Motherboard leading to a complete useless xBOX 360.
There are several technical problems and failures you may encounter when using Xbox 360 but many of these problems can be identified by a series of glowing red lights flashing on the face of the console. The front of the Xbox 360 game console has a “Ring of Light”. It is a circle of four bi-color LEDs with a green power indicator LED in the middle.
This is used to indicate the current state of the console and allows the user to check faults with the console. Every LED “quadrants” or Q has a number: 1 is upper left, 2 is upper right, 3 is lower left, and 4 is lower right (Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4). In normal mode or operation, the power indicator LED in the middle is activated in green color.
The number of quadrants activated indicates how many controllers are connected. When a hardware component failure occurs, Q4 will flash red and you will normally see a two-digit error code on your screen.
When overheating happens or when the temperature of the console reaches an unusually high level, the console will turn off the CPU and GPU and the fans will run at full speed while Q1 and Q3 flashes until the console has cooled down.
When a general hardware failure occurs, Q1, Q3, and Q4 will flash red. This happens when one or more hardware components fail.
When AV cable error occurs, all four quadrants will flash red. This happens when the AV cable is not detected. If you are using an HDMI connection, you will not see this on the console.
