Hello experts,

What are the requirements needed in dell installing updates?

I want my dell computer desktop to be updated on the possible changes in the windows 7 starter operating system.

How can I be able to enable the installation of updates?

I want a weekly or daily update, thank you.

What are the requirements needed in dell installing updates?

Dear James,

I have read your question and I understand that you need your dell laptops to run updates on regular basics. Well update runs where ever there are updates to install, so you can adjust when you need your dell laptop to check for updates. And in order to do that you need to go to the Dell support Center page on your laptop.

 

Select your region and country and then click the download now link. The program will be downloaded and the welcome setup wizard will appear. Click next and when the installation end click finish then accept. Now click on allow dell to collect information from my system, then click next to complete the setup, then the program will start.

 

Also you can always check http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/4 to get the entire updating program that you need.

Hi James,

Thanks for sharing problem if you want your system to be up to date follow the steps given below:

• Go to control panel in that you will find windows update.
• Click on the windows update then go to change settings.
• In that you will find important updates drop down box ,select download updates automatically.
• And apply it the updates will download automatically and your system will be up to date.

What are the requirements needed in dell installing updates?

Hi,

 

The following are the requirements required when installing DSS;

 

• Extraction utility, this can be either winzip or 7-zip

• Command Line, there are three command lines. Each has deferent function and you should be specific on which command line you want to use depending on the task you want the device to perform.
