Error when confirming purchase orders on ISW

Hello,

I have been getting an error recently when I confirm purchase orders on Intuit Statement Writer. Creating the order is okay but then when I confirm the purchase that is when the error below appears. Any ideas for solving this problem?

One or more critical STOP errors have occurred. Use the error messages below One or more accounting distributions is missing a ledger account.

Error when confirming purchase orders on ISW

Hi Eliza,

Some versions of Excel is now support for ISW. Below are some of the things you could take a look at:

1. Have the latest versions of ISW and QuickBooks
2. Try running the QuickBooks Statement Writer Diagnostics. Go to the Statement Writer Welcome Page > Preferences & Formats > Run Diagnostics Now.
3. Follow the wizard to diagnose any problems listed.
4. Make sure that the ISW data file not on a network, it needs to be on the local computer
5. Only Excel 2003 Professional, Excel 2007/2010 32-bit is supported by ISW
6. If you are using Windows 7 OS, you need to be an administrator on the computer
