The LandDesk Installer registry is corrupt

Hello all,

I have been trying to install LANDesk on my PC but when I start the installation, I am met with an error. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The message states:

LANDDesk(R) Software Installer Information

The LandDesk Installer registry is corrupt. The value for LDMainPath is not valid.

I don’t know about what the registry is it talking about? Can anyone please help me sort out the issue, I'll be really obliged.

The LandDesk Installer registry is corrupt

Hi Gran Wesner,

I'm searching for a solution with your problem and I find this.

Note: take a backup of your registry before doing this manipulation of deleting those registry keys.

1. Go to start running or simply press Windows Logo+R: Run dialog box.

2. On the Run Dialog Box type regedit.

This will open the registry.

3. On the registry.

Locate HKLMLANDesk ManagementSuiteSetup and delete the entries.

I wish this would help you solve your problem.
