Questions with no accepted solutions
My VPN server is rejecting client connections.
I have double checked my VPN settings, and I can't figure out why it denied the connections.
This works for 4 days then suddenly connections died for some reason.
I tried rebooting the main router that handles the VPN connection, but it didn't help.
This really a critical problem for me because a lot of people at work will be affected by this.
We have been trying to fix this matter for a week now.
I have been trying to Google it and can't find anything that works for me.
Your solutions would be most appreciated.

Hi,
My internal website that was built with MS SharePoint 2003 has been working fine for a couple of months. Recently, I noticed that more and more computers are unable to access it.
I don't have any experience troubleshooting SharePoint and some say I just have to rebuild the website. It would be time consuming I rebuild it.
One of the user reported that this the error he's been getting:
A communication error occurred: "Operation timed out"
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.
Any tips or suggestions on how to fix this?
Regards.

Hi!
My ColdFusion connection problem started after I updated my Windows XP and installed SQL Server 2005. I created a new database, but I can't get a validation when I tried to go to Administrative Tools and establish an ODBC connection.
I got the following error:
Connection verification failed for data source: XXXX java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket. Connection refused: connect. The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket. Connection refused: connect
I've been trying to work on this for hours and just receiving from forums answers that don't work.

Hello
Just wondering if you guys can help me with my curiosity.
In my previous work, I have a friend who can monitor network and internet connection and in fact he could tell me in details where the users usually browse internet to and he can even assign bandwidth to each user, and he can even make the speed for certain user very slow.
I was very curious on how that works and asked him about it several times, but he always gave me vague an answer, and I understand that probably he feels reluctant sharing his knowledge.
I know he's using some kind of the bandwidth limiter software since we don't have CISCO hardware or any bandwidth management hardware in previous work.

Hi There,
I'm using HP 2540p laptop with Windows 7 Professional installed in it. I've encrypted the HDD using an encryption software called Pointsec from Check Point. If I'm not mistaken, something happened with my laptop the HDD cannot be removed from the laptop.
The problem is the I cannot enter Windows 7 and always stuck at the beginning. It gave me error message: Pointsec can not load program. I still can access the bios, but cannot access windows. I was planning to retrieve the data using Ubuntu Live. So after I downloaded the iso file from Ubuntu site and burn it to CD, I tried booting from the CD and it works perfectly. Unfortunately I can't find the HDD in the list.

Hi.
I have been using Microsoft Windows 7, for the last three years but now, I am having a new issue while trying to re-install it. Actually, I have been trying to help a friend to re-install Windows 7 on her personal laptop.
While doing it, all went fine until its activation and that was the point where we realized that the label containing the product key had been damaged very badly and was illegible.
I tried to activate again and again by trying different figures for almost 5 times but the issue was not variable I guess. I have tried almost all possible things to fix this issue but have not been able to activate the Windows yet.

Hi There,
I have a question that might be silly for some of you but it's not that silly for a newbie like me.
I'm using Windows XP 32 bit SP 3 in my desktop. It's not a branded desktop just regular desktop. I installed Microsoft Office 2003 and using Microsoft Outlook to send and receive my mails. I have 2 emails that I use for corresponding.
1 for work related and the other one for personal matters. Currently I created 2 different profiles for my emails so when I need to use my personal email then I have to close Microsoft Outlook (if I use work email) and then re-open it again for personal profiles.
Both my emails (personal and work) are connected to different Microsoft Exchange Server.

Hi,
Yesterday afternoon, I have experienced an operating system crash and replaced the faulty operating system with Windows XP. Previously, I was using Eudora 6.2 as email client and now I installed newer version Eudora 7.1. After installing newer version, I have replaced all the folders and necessary files from my old Eudora setting folder.
I get back every feature perfectly except the contact list. There was more then 500 address in my contact list. I thought that I would get it fixed by installing previous version again and do so. Bad news is contact list is still missing.
Please help me, I don’t want to type all the addresses again.
Thanks.
