Speed up computer and increase performance windows 7

Hello to everyone,

I just want to ask if you know how to fasten up my Windows 7 - 64 bit Home Premium OS?

The specs are:

  • 2 GB - DDR2 memory
  • Intel Core 2 duo processor
  • 512 MB - Geforce 8800 GT video card

I wonder why it becomes slower and slower to start/boot up and performance. I would appreciate if someone can help me on this.

Remote desktop problem with Ubuntu 10.10 laptop

Hi,

I don't know if I'm posting in the right area as I could not find any Linux category.  So, I guess this is the right place. I am facing problem while trying to remote desktop my windows 7 pc from my ubuntu 10.10 laptop. I can never get things full screen and can't even scroll. I've been using the remote desktop client and terminal sever client, neither doing the trick. Can anyone help?
