Why does my PC crash when on gaming high quality?

I just recently formatted my desktop. Right after installing the drivers for it and rebooting the computer the final time I got this message on my computer "Out of range". What can I do about this? Please help me. Thank you.

I need help. I have a computer and I know that it is infected by malware and viruses.

My problem is, I am afraid to format my computer or scan it with an Antivirus because my data might be deleted.

I have some hidden folders in my computer which contain my important information but I cannot un-hide those folders because I can't see my files inside.

It can't be done by the properties of the folder. The hidden option is checked and it cannot be changed, which might probably be caused by a virus.

I have installed Ubuntu 9.04 with Wubi inside Windows XP (like regular app) and when I start my PC there is a option menu which is asking what I want to use - Windows XP or Ubuntu. The thing is that I reinstall Ubuntu OS (its just not for me), but the option menu at start up is still there.
