My Windows 7 computer is throwing almost 7 Java error messages. I have tried contacting Java but never got any reply. Is this problem caused because of downloading Oracle Office? Other than this my computer is found to be working fine. The numbers of the errors are as follows: 296, 4312, 2688, 3016, 3088.

How can I resolve those issues?

I am trying to encode a 16-bit grayscale image to movie using FFmpeg SVN-r0.5.1-4:0.5.1-1 Ubuntu1.1. I am using FLV1 codec but the pixel format changes to YUV420. I think the codec is not compatible with the colour space and I am receiving the following error: "Incompatible pixel format 'gray16be' for codec 'ffv1', auto-selecting format 'yuv420p'" I have also tried the raw video but ended up in container compatibility issue. I couldn’t find any codec that satisfies both the colour space and container requirements.

Please help me resolve the issue.

I am unable to perform a clean installation of Ubuntu 11.10 using the 32-bit or 64-bit installation CD on my dual boot computer as the screen breaks to a black background with a cursor without proceeding to the installation process. I am able to successfully complete the 64-bit installation process using a USB stick but on restarting the computer, it throws the following error message: “Error: invalid arch independent ELF magic”

Can anyone help me to resolve the issue?

I was using Lightworks on my 32-bit computer and had to shift it to a 64-bit computer that have more memory space. After few days. I received the error message “Unlicensed - Install License File". I have verified NTP date, uninstalled the old version and installed the latest version of Lightworks, provided new machine number and tried all the possible solutions.

Nothing worked. How can I resolve the error?

My computer is Windows XP Home Edition SP3. I downloaded the trial version of EDIUS 6 and unzipped the folder. I double clicked the SetupManagerForEDIUS.exe file according to the instruction. But file didn’t open. Clicking the Setup.exe threw a "License agreement" window along with an error “17001 - System error". I have Let's Edit software installed on my computer. I have tried installing EDIUS 4 trial version before but uninstalled it. Why am I receiving the error? How can I resolve it?

     My 500gb Hard Disk has become noisy and creating a buzzing sound these past few days and I’m worried that there might be something wrong with it. I tried checking it by removing it from the unit and shaking it if there is some loose components inside. I found out that it is still intact so I attach it again to the unit and there it is again. My Dell PC comes with Core i5 processor, 2 GB DDR3 RAM and Seagate HDD. I have upgraded the Internet Explorer 8 which has come with the PC to Internet Explorer 9.

When I am left-clicking on the ‘Windows’ button, the Internet Explorer displays in the abbreviated application list. But when I click on ‘All Programs’, it is not showing there. The Java is also getting a series of crashing and I don’t know why this is happening. Please help me to get out of this problem.

I am facing a problem with Keynote and Pages from iWork 6. I am having problem using the manual shape tool such as Bezier curve. For adjusting the points on curve, I have to reduce the control points of the curve. But sometimes the tabs are getting too close and flip off to out of the page and the program gets hang.
