I recently installed Windows 7 on my Dell laptop. Since then I keep getting errors on my DVD ROM. It says on the error “Code 19: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged.” I tried reinstalling some of the drivers but still didn’t manage to fix the error. I also tried browsing the net but the only solutions I’ve found are for Windows Vista and XP only. I’m having doubts if these solutions will work on Windows 7. I need everyone’s opinion regarding this matter. Please help me.

Every time I boot up my Windows XP computer, the system always displays

The memory could not be read.”

Anyone of you knows how to solve this problem?

System Restore has ceased functioning on my laptop with  Windows Vista OS.

Every time I run System Restore on my laptop, the system keeps on displaying “ERROR 0xc000007b: Each attempt to access System Restore on Windows Vista laptop fails with Error 0xc000007b.

Previous restore points lost.”

Can anyone tell me what this means?

I’m asking you to help me with this since I’m not pretty really familiar in using laptops and computers.

Every time I executed the Task Manager and shutdown or restart my computer, I keep getting the message error “dwwin.exe Application error...the instruction at "0x3003a657" referenced memory at "0x00a65a4d", the memory could not be "read", click OK to terminate the program” and such. Aside from this, I’m currently unable to add and remove programs, and use other utilities in the Control Panel. I’ve tried fixing the problems by downloading software which fixes my registry, but still no luck. I’m really at the end of my wits; any form of help is deeply appreciated.

I bought new HP Compaq dc7700 Convertible Minitower 3 days ago. After using it for a couple of days, for some reasons the system’s time keeps reverting even after setting it again. We are currently using Windows 7 32-bit on our computers and are also having trouble getting GS 8400 PCI express and nVidia GeForce 8400 GS PCI video cards functioning at the same time when running multiple monitors. We always keep on getting PCI bridge errors and have tried several solutions to fix the errors including changing PCI slots and others. I am using MSI laptop with Windows 7 installed on it. It has also a Blu-Ray Disc Drive and I want to upgrade it as soon as the new firmware is release. Anyone of you here knows how to get information about the manufacturer of your laptop’s Blu-Ray drive? I’ve tried checking the Device Manager on my computer but still no luck. I tried searching for it on Google.com but I can’t manage to find links that satisfy my problem. Hopefully, one of you here can help me. Help is definitely appreciated.

Recently, I bought Altec Lansing IML247 Orbit USB speakers for my computer. After 3 weeks, I’m starting to have issues on using it. The problem is I can’t hear anymore sound from the speakers. Despite that, I can still listen to music by substituting my speakers with headphones. I wonder what is wrong. My computer is up to date but I still can’t find the reason why the sound is always muted when I’m using those speakers. I am running a Windows Vista computer. To those who can help, a thousand thanks to you.

I would like to know how to solve my problem.  I would like to set a permanent setting to all the folders in My Documents.  I know that we could click the box which says to apply the same setting to the sub folders.  However, I noticed that they would reset after a while. 

Do you know how to make the set all the folders to Documents and have it at that permanently?

I am curious whether cloud hosting would suit me.  I have 5 servers to cater to simple websites which I am hosting right now.  The bandwidth is about 10 GB per month.  Would going cloud mean that I would compromise the quality of my servers?  Is it similar with VPS?  Would it suit me or should I just stick to my current situation?
