I have installed XAMPP control panel v3.1.0.3.1.0 on windows 7 PC after I installed it works fine, but every time I turn on the PC after shutting down I can't start MySQL server each time I try to start it, it just stops. Therefore I have to install XAMPP each and every morning before I start XAMPP. Only MySQL has the problem. Can anybody tell me how to solve?

I have installed Snort Intrusion detection system on Ubuntu virtual machine with snort rules that are freely available on snort website plus jpgraph. After installing I tested it with the Nmap using following command. nmap -A 192.168.174.131. But no records are available in JpGraph. What could be possibly went wrong ?

Once I tried to take a backup of a PC with fedora 17 to my friend's external hard drive. It was a 500GB Seagate HDD. Since I am a newbie to Linux I have used a command that I found online. However the backup process got interrupted halfway. After that I can't use it in windows and the drive doesn't even showing in my computer. Please somebody tell me how to fix it?      

Hey. I created some VMs using VMware and I haven't changed any of the settings I let all default values to be as it is during the creation. I have installed windows7 trial version in VMware 10.0 Now I am interested in connecting it remotely but not from the host PC. I am planning to connect it from another PC via remote desktop. I am using a Belkin N150 Wireless router to connect my PC to the internet. Now when I connected to the router my connection goes on and off and trying to connect to the router. I am using an external wifi adapter as I don't have inbuilt wifi card in my PC. Can anybody tell me what to do?

I am using a computer which has Gigabyte z77-ds3h motherboard. Few days ago the USB mouse that I am using started freezing randomly. During the first time it has happened I tried plugging it into a another USB 2.0 port and it didn't work either. Then I tried plugging it into the USB 3.0 port it worked fine. I attempted to create a VPN server on Windows server 2012. I installed Active Directory and used the wizard option to make all the configurations. When all was done, I tried to connect to VPN using Windows 7; but I got an error message saying "Remote computer could not be established". Please tell me where I went wrong and what must I do to correct the connection?

I have opted to use PowerShell to monitor usage of Exchange 2003. Can you please tell me the script details and what server PowerShell relies upon? Is there any other option available besides Power Shell to monitor performance and usage of Exchange?

Is there any software that can keep track of changes in a particular file and notify me of the change every time it occurs? Can you let me know of all the options available to do that?

I am using two servers that host Windows 2008 with Hyper V. I would like to upgrade the setup to the current system, but please let me know if the upgrade can be acieved on live servers? Or should I purchase an additional server, test it and then replace it with the first one?
